Upon arriving at work - turn on all the computers and pretest equipment and start the appropriate programs
Files - all files are to be filed by the end of your work day. All patient files for the next day should be pulled by the end of your work day.
Answering the phones - making appointments (checking eligibility of appointment dates, fulfilling the requests of patients to the best of your ability (this may mean referring the matter to someone else).
Greeting customers - always acknowledge the presence of a customer when they enter the practice.
Taking client information and running insurance claims.
Mail - preparing, delivering and picking up mail at the post office and/or the clinic.
