JKL Bookkeeping & Tax Inc. is seeking a Receptionist to be the primary front desk contact at our St-Pierre-Jolys office. Payroll or bookkeeping experience is considered a strong asset and will provide opportunities for broader responsibilities within our team.
About the Role
As the Receptionist at JKL, your responsibilities will include:
Serving as the first point of contact for clients--answering calls, emails, greeting visitors, and booking appointments
Managing the front desk and general office administration, including scheduling, file management, and client onboarding
Maintaining digital client records and assisting with document handling via Dext and QuickBooks Online
Supporting the team with payroll processing for clients using Wagepoint and QuickBooks Online (if experienced)
Preparing and submitting Records of Employment (ROEs) and managing employee profiles (if experienced)
Assisting with GST & PST remittances and payroll deductions (if experienced)
Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is required
Payroll and/or bookkeeping experience is an asset (especially with QuickBooks Online and/or Wagepoint)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with cloud-based tools (QBO, Dext, Google Workspace, Monday.com) is an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
