We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse (RN/RPN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in an allergy, rheumatology, dermatology setting, assisting with various skin-related conditions and treatments. As a vital part of our healthcare team, you will work closely with specialists and other medical professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Duties
Conduct patient assessments and gather medical histories related to allergy, rheumatology and/or dermatological conditions.
Assist in performing and preparing procedures
Educate patients about treatment options and post-procedure care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards.
Collaborate with physicians and other licensed health allied professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures within the clinic.
Perform allergy testing, including skin prick tests and patch testing, under physician supervision
Administer allergy treatments, including immunotherapy
Educate patients on allergy management, triggers, and prevention strategies
Monitor and document patient progress and adverse reactions
Collaborate with rheumatologists and dermatologists to manage patients with complex allergy-related conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and autoimmune diseases
Assist in patient assessment and provide care for patients undergoing allergy treatments or flare-ups
Support in developing patient care plans and help implement appropriate interventions
Provide emotional support to patients and families, addressing any concerns regarding treatment
Experience
Current nursing license (RN/RPN) is required.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to allergy, dermatology, and rheumatology is required
Previous experience in a clinical setting with ENT, respirology, and/or GI an asset
Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
