This position is based on-site Monday to Friday at our Paris office, shift: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (

Lunch from 12:00pm - 1:00pm)


Cowan Insurance Group is looking for a Receptionist to join our Paris office! This position reports to the Team Leader, Reception and serves as the first point of contact, delivering exceptional customer service to visitors and clients. As a Receptionist you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, managing external and internal mail and transferring calls to the correct lines of business. You thrive on providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Your communication skill both verbal and written are clear and professional. You work effectively on your own while collaborating seamlessly within a team.

What you will do:

Greet walk-in clients and prospects in a courteous and professional manner Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls promptly Prepare, receive and distribute incoming mail Maintain supplies and front office manuals Receive and process client payments Managing incoming faxes and email inquiries Retrieve and scan policy documents Providing administrative support to other departments as needed Performing other duties as assigned

What will you bring:

Previous reception experience is an asset Strong customer service and a caring attitude Demonstrates sound judgement, ethics and integrity Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize and adapt to work in a fast-paced work environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset
