PKF Lawyers, Manitoba's Law Firm, is seeking a career-minded, detail-oriented professional for a full-time receptionist/accounting assistant position at our Morden location. Responsibilities includes, but not not limited to:
Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, promptly notifying the relevant Firm members of their arrival
Efficiently manage a multi-line telephone system, providing prompt and courteous service and working closely with team members to direct calls to the appropriate personnel
Receive deliveries, faxes, and emails and route them to the proper recipient on a timely basis in coordination with the team
Process payment of invoices, including issuing receipts
Monitor outgoing deliveries to ensure they are picked up on a timely basis
Coordinating appointments to optimize office resources and prevent scheduling conflicts
Maintain professional appearance of boardrooms and conference rooms, ensuring they are always clean, organized, and client-ready
Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues
1+ years experience as a receptionist is considered an asset, but not required

Ability to manage competing priorities and organize tasks effectively
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a professional team environment while contributing to a supportive and engaging workplace culture
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
Strong technical aptitude with ability to quickly master new software applications, proficiently manage calendar systems, and maintain organized digital file storage
Proficient in operating various office equipment, including a multi-line telephone console system, computer, and photocopier
Ability to work well independently and follow instructions with little supervision
