About the Job



We have a newly-created role in the capacity of Receptionist, based at our Head Office in North York. As a member of the Front Desk Team you will report to the Manager, Corporate Services, acting as an ambassador in greeting visitors, guests and clients and providing office and administrative support to employees.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities



Corporate Reception Desk



Answering and routing incoming phone calls and greeting guests and visitors in-person. Receiving and dispatching courier packages and distributing mail. Booking boardrooms and meeting rooms.

Facilities Management



Inspection of common areas including Staff Lounge, Serveries, Dining Rooms and Boardrooms to ensure standards of presentation, health and safety and hygiene are maintained. Inspection of office equipment including printer/copier devices and mail machine to ensure functionality and topping up supplies. Monitoring inventories of office and kitchen.

Expense Management



Updating various expense tracking databases.

Other Responsibilities



As a Corporate Receptionist you will participate in the planning and coordination of employee events.

Educational Background



Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma is preferred.

Prior Experience



At least two years of progressive work experience providing administrative support or customer service.

Competencies



Excellent people skills - you enjoy providing customer service with a smile and a positive attitude. Open to learning. Capable of handling more than one task at a time with grace.

Compensation and Benefits



$40,000 to $48,000

Permanent employees are eligible for participation in the Company's Group Benefits Plan, HCSA and Retirement Plan.
