About the job:

We are looking for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist who is passionate about making customers feel confident and beautiful. You will play a key role in creating an unforgettable customer experience by being the first point of contact for customers who visit our salon or contact us. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, scheduling appointments, processing payments, solving customer problems and being knowledgeable about products, services and pricing.

You have a true people-centric mindset and deeply care about helping customers feel happy, confident and refreshed. You are able to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of professionalism. You are a quick problem solver, a strong communicator and an enthusiastic individual. You love organizing and paying attention to detail. You enjoy taking initiative to suggest and implement improvements.

What you will do:

Greet customers upon their arrival with a warm smile and a positive attitude Increase our brand awareness by building professional, friendly and trusting relationships with customers Answer customers' questions about treatments, products, services and pricing via phone, email or in-person Assist with marketing and sales by providing customers with information on promotions and new products/services Assist with creating and publishing social media content and engaging with our followers Keep client records updated, process bookings and cancellations, manage appointment schedules and process payments Be the primary point of contact between customers and the salon team. Advise assigned hair stylists and nail technicians about customer's arrival and update them about the services which they want Ensure that the salon is kept clean and professional (including tasks like emptying the towel bin, doing the laundry, sweeping the floors, etc.)

You always go above and beyond to ensure the ultimate salon guest experience You are highly organized, excellent at multitasking and are able to manage clients with elegance, even during peak demand You welcome challenges, are flexible to shifting priorities, and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times You are friendly and empathetic, and know how to diffuse a tense situation and turn a good experience into a great one You enjoy the buzz in meeting new people, have excellent communication abilities and demonstrate a genuine passion for helping people You are a team player with strong collaboration skills You are technologically savvy and have hands-on experience with GSuite, Office365, POS systems and office equipment (i.e. printers, cash registers, etc.) You have excellent attention to detail and are accountable You are able to anticipate needs and make decisions with sound judgement You are able to work weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) and are flexible with scheduling
