Veterinary Allergy Dermatology & Ear Referral Clinic is a specialty veterinary dermatology practice providing high quality exceptional care, located in Morriston, ON. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, motivated, caring part time Receptionist to join our wonderful ensemble of dedicated professionals including Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologists, Resident, Practice Manager, Veterinary Technicians/Assistants and Client Services Representatives.

Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm with no evenings, no weekends.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years receptionist experience in a veterinary practice, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, strong teamwork and social skills and a professional appearance. The candidate must also be computer literate and able to multitask. Punctuality, professional client communication skills (in person, by phone & email), and respect of fellow team members, clients and patients are also integral to this position. We are searching for a candidate who is interested in a long-term commitment to our practice. Wages will be commensurate with experience.
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer support while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties



Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and direct phone calls using appropriate phone etiquette. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and proofreading documents. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Assist with clerical duties as needed to support office operations. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements



Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role, preferably in a medical office setting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and basic typing skills. Attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. A positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
