The Burke Law Group has an opening for a full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, beginning immediately. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities
Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately with professional phone etiquette
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office
Perform data entry tasks accurately, including updating client records and filing documents
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail distribution
Maintain organized filing systems both digitally and physically
Assist with administrative duties such as photocopying, proofreading, and document preparation
Process payments from clients following professional standards
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong computer skills
Experience with filing and clerical tasks in an office setting
Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Previous administrative or clerical experience is preferred;
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively is an asset
