What this job involves:



JLL is hiring a receptionist who will act as the central point for office operations and guest services for a small technology client in the heart of 17th Ave SW. You will provide front-of-house hospitality including visitor management and access control, mail and shipping operations, and oversight of collaborative spaces and conference rooms. Additionally, the position manages office supply inventory, coordinates with facilities teams on maintenance issues, and serves as an onsite point of contact for operational support and emergency situations.



This location is accessible by public transit or there is a complimentary parking space available.



What your day-to-day will look like:



Guest Services & Reception - Welcome visitors, vendors, and applicants; escort to designated areas; create and manage access badges; maintain visitor reference materials and emergency information



Mail & Shipping Operations - Handle all incoming/outgoing mail sorting, postage application, and package processing through various carriers, maintain mail systems and metrics



Facilities & Space Management - Manage conference rooms and collaborative spaces; perform quality control; coordinate room setups/breakdowns; submit maintenance tickets and follow up on completion



Office Supply & Inventory Management - Order and stock office supplies, pantry items, and copy room materials; maintain adequate inventory levels across all locations



Administrative Support - Maintain standard operating procedures documentation; provide business insights data entry; assist with special projects and office moves



Emergency & After-Hours Support - Serve as onsite point of contact for emergencies and after-hours situations when applicable



General Office Services - Perform hospitality duties, minor housekeeping tasks, and all other assigned responsibilities to support daily operations



Required Qualifications:



2+ years of administrative experience, ideally in an office setting



Strong customer service skills



Proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning new technology
