Job Description

We are a privately owned Canadian Property Management Company, that has played a major role in the development and management of prime apartment, commercial and industrial properties, and some of the finest residential communities and business parks in the Greater Toronto Area.

A full-time position is available immediately for the position of

Receptionist and Office Support



Location: Toronto, ON

The successful candidate reports to the Manager of Human Resources & Administration and is responsible for handling the Avaya phone system. The Receptionist and Office Support will be responsible for providing administrative support in order to ensure Glen Corporation's services are provided in an effective and efficient manner. Hours of work will be from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (on site position)

The ideal candidate would possess good verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service, time management and organizational skills. Must portray a professional image and demeanour and the ability to form and maintain interpersonal relationships within the organization.

Responsibilities:



The successful candidate will be responsible for answering and directing all telephone calls, greeting visitors and handling deliveries as well as:

- Distribute the mail and arrange courier pickup

- Provide clerical and administrative support to the other departments

- Review and update lists and binders

- Organize incoming and outgoing cheques

- Assist accounts payable with emails and invoices

- Assist with any other clerical and administrative duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience:



- High School Diploma plus post secondary certificate in Office Administration would be considered an asset

- 1 - 2 years of prior reception experience

- Experience working on Avaya phone system is a definite asset

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Ability to handle a variety of callers with various demeanors

- Good keyboarding skills and an attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
