Your Role

- Greet customers and visitors in person and over the phone, handle general inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate person.

- Handle cash and credit card payments for retail purchases and assist with billing inquiries.

- Assist with various clerical tasks, which can include data entry, filing, copying etc.

- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and package deliveries. This includes sorting, distributing, and preparing items.

- Develop and maintain a good understanding of the different types of flooring products and installation services offered.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and showroom to ensure it is welcoming and professional.er customer service and design expertise to retail and account customers during showroom hours

- Processing of basic billings / invoices

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required for interacting with clients, vendors, and colleagues.

- Must be friendly, personable, and able to create a positive first impression for all visitors.

- Familiarity with office equipment and software, including multi-line phones, computers, printers, and programs like Microsoft Office.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep the reception area and administrative files neat and orderly.

Education & Experience Requirements

- Relevant experience in a customer service or administrative role

- Basic Financial & Bookkeeping Experience Considered an Asset

- Industry and/or flooring experience an asset

- Interest in Flooring Fashion not required but considered an asset

- Available Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
