Position Overview
We are looking for a highly capable Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to serve as the primary point of contact for clients. This role provides a professional buffer, handles all incoming communications, prepares survey documents, drafts correspondence, and manages routine tasks.
This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Communicating with clients via phone and email
Take incoming calls from potential customers
Assist customers with their inquiries by providing necessary information
Prepare and manage survey documents, including formatting, compiling, and submission packages (training provided)
Perform administrative support tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Background in real estate, legal (property/real estate), engineering, construction, or similar land surveying or project-based industries an asset
Experience in surveying, geomatics, or land-related fields is also an asset or the willingness to learn industry terminology is essential
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office tools
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional phone and email etiquette
Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused; able to work independently when appropriate
Strong customer service skills; patient, professional, and client focused
Adaptable, reliable, punctual, and committed to team success
