Our client is seeking a professional, organized, and proactive
Reception & Junior Accounting Support
professional. This role is primarily focused on
reception and front-office administration
, with the added opportunity to support the accounting team in
entry-level Accounts Payable tasks
.
This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys reception work but wants to gain exposure to AP processes and grow within an accounting environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesReception and Administrative Duties (Primary)
Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming calls.
Handle 20-30 calls per day in a polished, efficient manner.
Manage calendars, book appointments, and support meeting coordination.
Perform general administrative tasks including filing, scanning, copying, and document handling.
Distribute mail and courier shipments.
Maintain office supply inventory and ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
Provide administrative support to team members during downtime.
Junior Accounts Payable Support (Secondary)
Enter vendor invoices into accounting systems with accuracy.
Assist with scanning, coding, and organizing AP documentation.
Support vendor communication by providing updates and answering basic inquiries.
Assist with reconciliation tasks under direction.
Help prepare documentation for payment processing.
Learn AP workflows and systems through training provided by the accounting team.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Reception, Administration, or Office Coordination.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Professional phone presence and ability to handle moderate call volumes.
Accurate data entry skills and high attention to detail.
Tech savvy with an ability to learn new systems quickly.
Proficient with Google Suite.
Organized, dependable, and proactive.
Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
High school diploma required.
Interest in accounting or developing AP skills is considered an asset.

Work Environment and Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
On-site role.
30-minute lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks (cannot be combined).
Business casual environment.
Vacation: 4% (equivalent to two weeks).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00 per hour
