Responsible for receiving parts, accessories and aircraft engines in the stores department. Will also work collaboratively with various teams documenting and moving parts and engines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receive parts as they are delivered to the facility.
-Confirm the correct part was sent by verifying part numbers to the purchase orders.
- Confirm part quantities and identify incomplete orders.
- Photographing parts and uploading digital images
- Ensure part certifications and documentation are complete.
- Communication with partners.
- Photocopying and data entry.
-Use of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Paperwork and tracking documentation.
- Conduct inventory counts.
- Communication with team about issues or trends identified as parts are ordered and received.
- Ongoing training as required.
Skills Required:
- Proficient using software including Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)
- A high level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to lift parts up to 50 pounds
- Positive outlook and comfortable working with a team
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset;
- Experience, or knowledge of the aviation industry is an asset, but not required
Working Conditions:
- Working with computers
- Use of basic hand tools to open packages.
- Expected to both stand and sit alternatively throughout the day.
- Working hours are 8am-5pm at Aerotec's Beaverbank facility.
