Analytic Systems Ware (1993) Ltd (www.analyticsystems.com) designs and manufactures power electronic products in Tilbury Industrial Park located in Delta, BC including Power Supplies, Inverters, Voltage Converters and Battery Chargers for the Military, Industrial and Marine markets.

The company has an opening for an Inventory/Receiving Clerk.

Requirements for the position

Education:

High School Diploma

Experience:

1-year related experience in a manufacturing setting. Electronic assembly experience an asset.

Skill, Knowledge and Abilities:

Good knowledge of electronic components. Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Good computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and MRP and accounting software. Able to use scales and counting machines. Able to work with minimal supervision; time management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with the production supervisor, administrative, sales, manufacturing staff, and shipping vendors. Able to follow policies and procedures. Able to organize and prioritize work. Forklift certification is an asset but will train.

Physical:

Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. Must be able to work on feet all day.

Working Conditions:

Working mostly indoors in a temperature-controlled environment

Responsibility:

The Inventory/Receiving Clerk is responsible for reviewing accuracy and quality of incoming inventory; is responsible for organizing inventory; and is responsible for accurate kitting of production orders.

Duties:

Check incoming shipments (correct number of boxes, any damage to box) and sign if correct or make a note on the receipt if there are a discrepancy or damage and sign. Enter receipt of inventory in the computer. Maintain inventory records. Perform routine stock checks and cycle counts. Maintain storage areas, organizing and placing stock items onto shelves Kit material and parts to the Production floor and/or contract manufacturers. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

8-hour shift, typically 7:00am to 3:30pm with two paid 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
