is responsible for accurately unloading, inspecting, labeling, and documenting all incoming shipments. Working closely with the Inbound Warehouse Supervisor and Inventory team, you'll ensure every product is received and processed according to Supership's standards and each client's unique requirements. You'll also support real-time issue resolution, inventory integrity, and the smooth flow of inbound goods into the warehouse.
You will report to the Inbound Warehouse Supervisor, and when unavailable, to the Warehouse Manager on duty.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving & Inspection
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips, POs/, or other documentation.
Inspect products for damage, shortages, and non-compliance.
Document received inventory using the
Inbound Tracker
and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Label products with:
Day-of-week stickers
Box count indicators (e.g., 1 of 3, 2 of 3)
Client-specific green stickers
Additional inventory stickers for O2O or non-PO items
Accurately apply charges to client accounts according to billing procedures.
System Accuracy & Documentation
Use RF scanners, barcode readers, or digital forms to log inventory accurately.
Ensure complete data entry for chain-of-custody and audit tracking.
Mark missing information in records as
"Information Not Found"
(never "N/A").
Take photos of any damaged or non-compliant shipments for documentation and escalation.
Coordination & Communication
Collaborate with the entire team to ensure timely handoff and storage.
Escalate receiving errors or compliance issues to the Inbound Warehouse Supervisor with full details.
Assist in resolving real-time receiving problems to avoid delays.
Organization & Cleanliness
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area at all times.
Return tools and materials to proper locations.
Use downtime to sweep or reset work areas proactively.
Additional Support & Flexibility
Support special receiving projects such as client onboarding, offboarding, and bulk deliveries.
Assist with put-away processes or inventory transfers when needed.
Participate in warehouse cross-training (e.g., packing, returns, inventory counts).
Perform other warehouse tasks as directed by the Inbound Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in warehouse receiving, shipping, or inventory roles (preferred).
Familiarity with RF scanners, barcode systems, and/or WMS software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills (Google Sheets, Excel, or similar platforms).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate carts or pallet jacks safely.
Forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to be certified).
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
