We are currently seeking a
Receiver
for ourMississauga Distribution Centre located at 333 Matheson Blvd West
.As a Receiver, you would be responsible for receiving products into the warehouse according to procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Unload all incoming products off the trailers. Check, inspect, examine, and count all products being unloaded for quality and quantity against purchase orders. Informs the warehouse management of any discrepancies on purchase orders. Document all overages, shortages, and damages. Ensures that the driver's signature is on all paperwork. Tag product. Investigate variances in received products. Understands and follows all safe work practices and rules. Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED or equivalent skills and experience. Previous warehouse experience. Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn in-house computer programs. Ability to learn in-house inventory management systems. Good verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good physical condition with stamina to lift at least 50 - 100 pounds. Operates various equipment (dock levellers, hand trucks, garbage baler, cardboard baler, lift truck, etc.) Demonstrate the company's Values.
OTHER INFORMATION
Able to conduct physical work in warm and cold conditions. Flexible schedule requirements, including evenings and weekends. * Available to work overtime as required.
