This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for assembling, gathering
and loading product for shipment.

Responsibilities



Represent Delta's core values of Integrity, Service and Quality in relationships with both

internal staff members and external customers and suppliers.



Follow Delta Elevator policies and procedures, Employee Manual, and Health & Safety

Manual Guidelines.



Receive product delivered to Delta. Perform associated receiving inspections per instructions. Using computer software to receive, track and coordinate product. Liaising with Production Coordinator to coordinate deliveries. Deliver received product to storage locations or departments. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Cleaning, sweeping and outdoor maintenance of receiving area. Other duties as assigned.

Authority



Prevent the use of unsafe, non-conforming or environmentally damaging product.

Qualifications Skills

Basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment


and processes



Mechanically apt (using hand tools,
understanding of wrenches, hardware etc.)

Physically capable (parts are heavy and need to
be lifted and moved frequently)

Ability to operate machinery including forklift and
crane.

Ability to operate a computer Able to attain forklift and crane
operator licenses

Ability to work as a team
player

Self- motivated Ability to perform continuous
heavy lifting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
