We are inviting applications for a Receivables and Collections Analyst with emphasis on quickly managing Customer Chargebacks and Payment Terms.

This role requires daily engagement with the Sales team, Customers and Finance team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Dispute Resolution, Compliance, and Accounts Receivable Management

Monitor daily cash deposits, correctly apply them in the accounting system, analyze discrepancies, and resolve issues. Process customer remittance details related to bank deposits, tracing them through emails and customer portals. Interact with customers to reconcile discrepancies and dispute unreasonable claims. Conduct accounts receivable collection activity and analysis.

Collaboration and Process Improvement

Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Logistics) to ensure accuracy in invoicing, payments, and shipping. Maintain a strong working knowledge of ORB's systems and financial data, focusing primarily on those relevant to accounting and customer payment portals. Read and maintain a working comprehension of vendor guides and customer payment policies. Access customer portals as necessary to review payment details, chargebacks, and allowances. Maintain detailed records and analysis of disputes, resolutions, and reconciliations to support financial reporting and compliance. Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to AR transactions, chargebacks, and customer payments. Identify opportunities for improving AR processes, automation, and efficiencies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.

5+ years of experience in finance or accounting.

Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems (Netsuite, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced level).

Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, sales order lifecycle, customer compliance, banking systems and protocols, and the ability to understand and analyze interconnections within payment transaction records.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to remain calm and professional when handling dispute resolution with customers and ORB stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Solid negotiation skills as they pertain to contracts, multi-party agreements and conflict resolution.

Experience in Marketplace operations is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.20-$25.06 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
