Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. The RECE will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. This position involves working collaboratively with children, families, and colleagues to support the developmental needs of each child while promoting early learning through engaging activities.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children. Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships and ensure open lines of communication. Observe and assess children's development and progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all children. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall quality of care and education provided. Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention. Utilize effective time management skills to balance multiple tasks while ensuring each child's needs are met.

Requirements

A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required. Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage. A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their growth.
