Who we are looking for:
ACSA is currently seeking a RECE Program Facilitator who will be reporting to the Child and Family Services Coordinator. The ideal candidate has an ECE background, extensive experience working with children and caregivers to implement early learning activities in indoor and outdoor settings and multiple sites. Candidate will plan and lead the program, and services and receive direction from the program coordinator and will also contribute to the operation of daily child and family programs and services within the policies and procedures of the agency.

About the role:
Program Development & Delivery
Foster a caring, stimulating and inclusive environment for children (0-6) and their families/caregivers.
Design, plan and lead age?appropriate activities that promote learning, social?emotional growth and school readiness.
Source and manage high?quality program materials, food and resources ensuring alignment with curriculum goals and budget.
Develop caregiver workshops on child?development topics and connect families with community resources as per need
Mentor placement students and volunteers; provide progress updates to the Program Coordinator.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
Maintain confidential client and program registration files; ensure records are up?to?date and accurate.
Track daily attendance and relevant statistics; prepare and submit detailed monthly reports to the Program Coordinator.
Keep centre information boards (flyers, calendars, notices, etc.) current, relevant and visually organized.
Health, Safety & Equipment Management
Conduct routine environment and equipment inspections; clean and sanitize spaces and materials regularly.
Store toys, equipment and program supplies safely; perform pre? and post?use checks to ensure all items are in good working order.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all site resources and flag any repair or replacement needs promptly.
Communication & Relationship Building
Exhibit strong written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages are an asset.
Establish and nurture professional relationships with parents/caregivers, colleagues, placement students, volunteers and external service providers from diverse backgrounds.
Gather caregiver feedback to refine programming
Travel & Logistics
Coordinate travel between multiple program sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and preparation.
Organize logistics for off?site events and community partnerships, including materials transport
About you:
ECE diploma/degree; active RECE member
2+ years' experience (0-6 yrs) with play?based programming
Knowledge of Emergent Curriculum, ELECT and How Does Learning Happen
Skilled in community referrals and working in diverse settings
Police & vulnerable?sector clearance, Standard First Aid?& CPR, immunizations, 2?step TB test
Mandarin/Cantonese and valid driver's license with vehicle (assets)
Working Conditions
Outdoor activity (up to 2?hrs/day) in varied weather
Regular physical tasks (walking, bending, lifting to 20?kg)
Flexibility for evenings, Saturdays and multi?site travel
oFrequent interaction with children, youth, families, staff, and community partners
oAttendance at meetings and training sessions at various sites as needed.
What we offer:
Full-time employment
3-week vacation, 15 sick days, 2 float days
Salary: $51,506.00 - 53,380.00
