St-Laurent Academy is a dynamic and inspiring,

Daycare to Grade 12, Private School located in Ottawa, Ontario.

We are growing significantly, recently purchasing a new school space in the beautiful Rockcliffe/Lindenlea neighbourhood, and are currently accepting applications for full-time RECE's and Daycare Educators.

PLEASE NOTE: all applicants must be located in the Ottawa or immediate Ottawa area in order to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety while adhering to CCEYA and public health guidelines. Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program that meets the needs of children. Engage in planned activities alongside children, facilitating their participation and learning. Support and encourage children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth and well-being. Complete thorough documentation of children's development, behaviors, and interactions regularly. Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's progress and well-being. Collaborate with other team members to create a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment Carry out additional tasks as directed by management. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training opportunities. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Daycare Classroom and common spaces at all times.

Qualification:

Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

certification from an accredited institution (must be in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification. Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 6 months). English and/or French. * Experience working in early childhood education will be considered an asset.
