We are seeking a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a passion for fostering early childhood development. Duties
Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children in accordance with early childhood education standards
Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through individualized attention and group activities
Collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists to create inclusive learning environments
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times
Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials and managing resources
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a positive learning atmosphere
Incorporate special education strategies when working with children with disabilities or additional needs
Utilize computer skills for documentation, planning, and communication purposes
Skills
Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French are highly desirable
Experience working with children in early childhood settings or classroom environments
Knowledge of special education practices and working with children with disabilities
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, families, and team members
Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
Leadership qualities to guide and support both children and team members
Writing skills for documentation and reporting purposes
Computer operation skills for record keeping and educational planning
Childcare experience combined with a background in early childhood education or teaching certifications is preferred
