Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational Montessori activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety at all times Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress and any concerns Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and daily activities Follow all licensing regulations and health & safety protocols to ensure compliance and a safe learning space Support children with daily routines such as meal times, naps, and hygiene practices Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development

Skills

Valid registration as an RECE with the appropriate regulatory body Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs . Experience with Montessori would be preferred. Demonstrated patience, empathy, and positive attitude in working with young children Knowledge of health & safety standards relevant to early childhood education settings Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support a dynamic classroom setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
