Summary

We are seeking an energetic, friendly, and reliable Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team at Viva Kids Academy. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children's natural curiosity and love for learning.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet their individual needs. Encourage self-expression and critical thinking through hands-on activities and exploration. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development at home and in school. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.

Requirements

Must be available to work between the hours of 7:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday Must have an understanding of Childcare policies and procedures Demonstrate ability to form strong, trusting relationships quickly with children, parents and staff Be comfortable working with a range of ages. Infant, Toddler and Preschool Ability to learn and follow routines quickly and effectively Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen? Must have Standard First Aid and CPR-Level C Successful candidates will be required to submit a Vulnerable Sector criminal reference check and medical documentation as required by the Child Care and Early Years Act

Classroom Childcare: 3 years (preferred)
