Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RECE to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire children, and promote positive relationship with children and their families. This role requires creativity, patience, and a commitment to children development.

Duties

Provide quality compassionate care and support to children and their families Build positive relationships with children and seek opportunities to deepen connections with parents and families keeping them up to date on their child's progress Be a creative play partner who is actively engaged with the children and makes learning fun Independently ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times, while working alone and/or with other Child Care Educators Listen to and respond to children's needs which includes diapering and assisting children with toileting Clean and sanitize child care spaces, toys and equipment Understands the legal responsibilities and moral imperative to report suspected child abuse to child protection services Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

RECE Diploma Good standings with College of ECE First Aid CPR Criminal Reference Check Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Education:

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:

RECE: 1 year (preferred)
