We are looking for a Rebar Estimator to join our team in Dartmouth, NS.

Rebar

Estimator,

based in

Dartmouth, NS

will mainly be responsible for estimating rebars (takeoff) for multiple construction projects demands.

Role and responsabilities:

Oversee the acquisition of complete tender documents for takeoff purposes; Complete rebar takeoff and accurate estimate for pricing; Provide budget quantities & suggestions for a customer's proposed projects; Have a positive & helpful line of communication with the detailing departement; Participate and attend pre-tender award meetings, management meetings and staff meetings.

Qualifications

College diploma in civil engineering, estimating or drafting; 3 to 5 years of estimating experience in construction; 2 to 3 years of experience estimating rebar projects; Ability to work on mutiple projects at the same time; Autonomy, creative, flexible; High level of organization; Very good communication skills;
