What you will do
Assist Property Managers with property management issues, including maintenance issues, compliance of restrictive covenants, reviewing of reports, service calls and invoice payment for specific portfolios.
Prepare Property Management documents (Letters, Access Agreements, Temporary Occupancy Licenses, store closeout forms etc.), submit for signature, send to recipients and file electronically.
Support the Property Management team with daily administrative tasks including store opening and closing.
Record procedures to maximize efficiency nationally, update procedure manual, create presentations, and maintain workload tools.
Manage regional invoice mailboxes and send notices to locations.
Maintain corporate property expropriation tracker.
Handle insurance certificate requests from landlords and collect insurance certificates from tenants.
Manage ad-hoc tasks and projects requested by Portfolio Manager and Property Managers.
What you bring
Post-secondary education in Business Administration or another related field (or commensurate experience). Pursuing an accredited commercial real estate designation (eg CPM) would be considered an asset.
Ability to read and interpret lease language / legal contract.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required, and being bilingual in English and French would be an asset.
Well-organized, with excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills to manage multiple tasks at any given time, with tight deadlines - while still maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with coworkers, other teams, and landlords.
Technologically savvy, with experience in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, Docusign. Experience using a lease management database such as Lucernex would be considered an asset.
Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License an asset.
