Overview

We are growing and looking to add a legal professional with experience in construction and real estate law to our team. This is a full-time, in-office role ideal for someone looking to build their legal career within a dynamic real estate development environment.

Responsibilities

2-3 years of relevant legal experience (construction and/or real estate). Strong working knowledge of real estate, construction, and general commercial legal frameworks. Bar admission in Ontario preferred; candidates pursuing licensing will be considered. Experience supporting or handling legal matters. An interest in resolving issues proactively while being comfortable supporting files that occasionally require formal proceedings. Demonstrated ability to manage files independently, including preparing and reviewing legal documents. Solid understanding of legal procedure, including file management and compliance with court-related timelines. Effective communicator with strong drafting skills and an analytical mindset Bilingual: Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is required.
