Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Lead (CLM) with deep expertise in SAP Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) to lead contract and lease management initiatives within the real estate sector.
This is a hybrid role requiring occasional travel to the client site in Ottawa for key meetings, workshops, or project milestones. Please note that travel expenses are not covered.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management) for contract and lease management (CLM).
Oversee end-to-end solution design across contract, lease, asset, and space management processes.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate real estate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Conduct configuration, testing, and validation of RE-FX functionalities including lease-in, lease-out, valuation, and IFRS 16 compliance.
Manage integration points between RE-FX and other SAP modules (FI, CO, PS, MM, and PM).
Provide expert guidance in system upgrades, process optimization, and issue resolution.
Lead workshops and user training sessions to promote system adoption and knowledge transfer.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, deliverables, and governance standards.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of hands-on SAP experience, with at least 5 years specializing in SAP RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management).
Proven expertise in contract and lease management (CLM) within RE-FX, including IFRS 16 and lease accounting compliance.
Strong understanding of SAP integration with FI/CO and other modules impacting real estate processes.
Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end RE-FX implementations or rollouts.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and travel to Ottawa as required.
Must have experience in real estate or facilities management domain.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in large public sector or enterprise environments.
Knowledge of S/4HANA migration and modernization of RE-FX functionalities.
Familiarity with SAP Cloud for Real Estate or related digital real estate management tools.
