Job title: Real Estate Lawyer

About the opportunity:

Our client is seeking a residential and commercial real estate lawyer. Their primary focus is on residential and commercial real estate law, but they also handle legal matters related to wills and estates and corporate law as the needs arise for the clients.

What you will do day-to-day: * Consult with clients to assess their legal needs and determine the best course of action.

• Review and draft legal documents related to residential real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and mortgage documents.
• Provide legal advice on matters related to wills and estates, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, and advising on estate planning strategies.
• Provide legal advice on matters related to corporate law, including incorporation, partnership agreements, and business contracts.
• Represent clients in court or arbitration proceedings related to real estate disputes, estate litigation, or corporate law disputes.
• Conduct legal research to keep up-to-date with changes in real estate law, estate law, and corporate law.
• Maintain accurate records of cases, billing, and client communications.

What you will bring to the role:

• JD or LLB from an accredited university.
