Brace Law is URGENTLY looking for ONE)experienced real estate law clerk to join our team. The successful candidates for this role must be eager to learn, organized, attentive to detail, and team players. Requirements:
- Graduated from a recognized law clerk or legal assistant program or demonstrable experience working as a real estate law clerk
- Ability to work on multiple transactions and matters simultaneously
- Organized and effective communicator with attention to detail
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, take the appropriate initiative, prioritize and multitask
- Flexible, client service-oriented, team player
- Positive attitude with the willingness and initiative to support the team as well as work independently
- Ability to manage a large volume of work and deal with changing priorities in a busy practice
- Meeting strict deadlines with excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- MS Office Suite of Applications and proficient in Teraview, Unity and PCLaw
- Handle daily administrative tasks
- Able to complete a real estate transaction/closing from start to finish
- Prepare various documents including purchase & sale agreements, transfers, charges, notices and others
- Conducting all due diligence searches (including off-title enquiries) in connection with real estate purchases
- prepare reports and closing documentation
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
