, along with a willingness to take on technical tasks related to leases, financial reporting, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Coordination
Draft, edit, and prepare leases, offers to lease, and related correspondence.
Maintain digital and physical filing systems for leases, contracts, and development documents.
Schedule meetings, manage correspondence, and prepare project updates.
Act as a point of contact for tenants, brokers, and consultants on routine matters.
Real Estate Development Support
Assist in due diligence activities for acquisitions and new projects.
Track project milestones, permitting timelines, and approvals.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and brokers to ensure timely delivery of information.
Maintain project records and track key development documentation.
Financial & Analytical Support
Prepare lease abstracts, rent schedules, and basic financial summaries.
Assist with tracking project budgets, cash flows, and operating expenses.
Provide support in reviewing and updating proformas.
Organize data for management reporting.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in
Business, Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or related field
.
1-3 years of experience in real estate, leasing, property management, or professional administration (internship/co-op experience considered).
Strong understanding of lease structures and real estate terminology.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Financial acumen and comfort working with budgets and spreadsheets.
Self-starter with initiative, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and in a team setting.
