The Role
In this position, you will manage residential conveyancing files from start to finish and play a key role in ensuring smooth and timely closings. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing approximately 25 closings per month
  • Completing due diligence and registry searches (Corporate Registry, PPR, Land Titles, tax searches, etc.)
  • Preparing, reviewing, and processing mortgage instructions
  • Communicating with clients and providing regular file updates
  • Collaborating closely with lawyers, staff, and clients to ensure efficient file progression
  • Following instructions while working independently within a professional team environment
What We're Looking For
  • Paralegal diploma or Legal Assistant certificate/diploma from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 3 years of residential conveyancing experience
  • Commercial transaction experience is considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive, positive, and professional approach when working with clients and colleagues
