About us
We are currently seeking an experienced and business-minded Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in commercial and real estate law, with a working knowledge of condominium law as it relates to property development and project delivery.
Qualifications:
LL.B. or J.D. and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Minimum 3-5 years of post-call experience, ideally in a real estate development, commercial real estate, or construction law context.
Strong working knowledge of the Condominium Act, the Planning Act, and the Construction Act.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
Prior in-house experience or work with a property development firm is an asset but not required.
Handle or support property-related disputes: boundary disputes, easements, adverse possession, land-use or zoning compliance issues, title insurance claims.
Provide high-quality legal advice and support in a timely manner, meeting deadlines and managing multiple matters simultaneously.
