Job Summary

We are seeking one or two dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienists to join our dynamic and growing family dental practice. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction, and integrating with our amazing staff. As key members of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and educating patients about preventive care.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as necessary. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Assist in the management of patient records using Cleardent software. Collaborate closely with dentists to create treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide support in orthodontic and pediatric procedures as required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and questions regarding treatments.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care. Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with skills in dental assisting being a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics is advantageous. Proficient in using Cleardent or similar dental practice management software.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $58.00-$63.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
