Chestermere Smiles Dental is dedicated to providing exceptional family dental care in a friendly and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking to expand our team with a skilled Dental Hygienist to cover a maternity leave position (18 months).This position could be part time or full time.

Summary

As a Dental Hygienist at Chestermere Smiles Dental, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental hygiene services to our patients. This part-time to full-time position and offers an opportunity to work in a supportive team environment. New Graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings and provide preventative care to patients. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans using Dentrix software. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and questions.

Requirements

Proficient in using Dentrix software for patient management is a bonus. Strong understanding of dental office procedures and protocols. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is an asset.

Hours:

Monday and Wednesday 11-7

Tuesday 10-6

Thursday 12-5

Saturdays 9-3 (2 per month)
