As a Research and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing delicious food products. You will work closely with the Production, Sales, Quality, Process, and Engineering teams. You'll be part of a tightly knit team under the direct supervision of the Director of R&D for Private Label Brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop recipes and manufacturing processes tailored for our private label clients
Design and create food products using innovative ingredients and cutting-edge technologies
Utilize available tools to assess and optimize the nutritional qualities of developed recipes
Conduct laboratory trials to test formulations and manufacturing processes
Analyze trial results and adjust formulations to enhance product quality and stability
Collaborate with production teams to scale up new formulations to industrial levels
Closely monitor development goals, timelines, and budgets
Communicate effectively with external clients and suppliers
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, or any other relevant and recognized discipline
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in R&D, food specialization, or related experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills in both official languages
Demonstrated creativity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and analytical thinking
Recognized for being meticulous and highly organized
