YOUR TASKS

Responsible for prototype creation including setting up recipes, taking and preparing samples and evaluating results

Leading trials to ensure products meet customer requirement and expectations

Responsible for product commercialization process including preparing all required documentations, monitoring first production run, liaison with Quality Control Group on required testing.

Leading continuous improvement projects by increasing blending efficiency and cost reduction

Provide technical support to customers as requested to improve their process or product quality.

Organize and conduct hands-on bakery training and workshops for customers and customer group (Baker Academy program)

Perform tests for Quality Control and Shelf-life extension

Produce, maintain, and organize product samples

Actively participate to our HACCP, SQF, Internal audit, Gluten Free, Organic and Non-GMO program

Establish and maintain effective relationships and communications throughout the entire organization

Replace QA, QC Baker positions during their respective absence.

Keep knowledge up to date on new ingredient development and see possibility to include them into existing products or through new product development.

YOUR PROFILE

Diploma degree in the bakery field or bachelor's degree in food science

Strong knowledge of the bakery business

Minimum of 5 years' experience

Detail oriented with excellent organization skills

Highly motivated self-starter with a proven work ethic

Excellent communication skills, problem solving and decision making

Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team with minimal supervision

Ability to prioritize workload, multitask with strong attention to detail and accuracy, meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Willing to occasionally travel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
