Role Overview

This position will be responsible for designing and executing experiments to support the development of novel LC-MS-based solutions for metabolomics and lipidomics. This position will work closely with a team of scientists and researchers to identify and evaluate new targets, develop new assays, and optimize existing protocols.

Responsibilities

Acquire a thorough understanding of the company's technologies, methods, and products along with its R&D strategies and objectives. Develop innovative technologies and research ideas in LC-MS, metabolomics, and lipidomics, while identifying understudied topics from authoritative publications. Oversee the planning, initiation, execution, and management of new product/method formulations. Maintain meticulous records and summarize all project work in formal reports, following the company's project management standards. Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external researchers, users, and clients. Prepare documentation for publications or patents as required. Perform routine office activities and additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Skill and Qualifications

M.Sc. or Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or other relevant fields. At least one year of experience with mass spectrometry, preferably with metabolomics, lipidomics, or proteomics. Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
