You\'ll have the chance to work on major projects involving the development of rubber tracked assemblies, more specifically the rubber track. Your expertise and analytical skills will be put to good use in our defense, agricultural, industrial and recreational projects.

Here\'s an overview of your tasks:

  • Develop and improve damage prediction tools (heating, abrasion wear, fatigue failure, etc.) for our products
  • In collaboration with our subsidiary Soucy Techno and the physical testing department, develop and improve the characterization tests of our rubbers in order to increase the accuracy of the results of numerical simulations
  • Validate our techniques by comparing numerical predictions with results obtained on vehicles
  • Actively participate in the technological advancement of products in all sectors by performing work aimed at a better understanding of damage mechanisms and performance
  • Support the optimization of our products using numerical models and specific calculations
  • Support the engineering of all sectors by developing advanced design tools
  • Ensure scientific watch in relevant fields
  • Act as a technical reference for the engineering and development of current and future products
WHAT WE\xe2\x80\x99RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or other related field
  • Graduate training in a relevant field of expertise
  • At least 5 years of experience (including PhD if applicable) in numerical simulations
  • Strong interest in research and development
  • Advanced programming skills (Python and Matlab) (asset)
  • Technical knowledge of the thermomechanical behavior of elastomers (asset)
  • Practical experience with explicit dynamic finite element modeling software such as Abaqus/Explicit (asset)
  • Practical experience in a manufacturing company (asset)
  • Interest in recreational, industrial, military or agricultural vehicles (asset)
