Raw Materials Mixer / Pre Batch Technician (supplement Manufacturing)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Raw Material Handling & Preparation



Accurately weigh raw materials (active ingredients, excipients, flavors, colors, etc.) according to batch records and formulations

Verify raw material identity, lot numbers, and expiry dates prior to use

Stage and prepare ingredients for production in accordance with the production schedule

Perform mixing and blending of raw materials using designated equipment

SOP & GMP Compliance



Follow all SOPs, GMP guidelines, and safety procedures at all times

Ensure all activities are performed according to approved manufacturing instructions

Immediately report deviations, discrepancies, or equipment issues to supervisors

Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards in production areas

Documentation & Recordkeeping



Complete batch records accurately, legibly, and in real time

Record all weights, quantities, times, and process steps performed

Document equipment usage, cleaning logs, and material consumption

Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and internal quality requirements

Equipment & Workspace



Operate scales, mixers, blenders, and other pre-batch equipment safely

Perform basic equipment checks before and after use

Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas according to SOPs

Maintain an organized, clean, and compliant production environment

Team Collaboration



Work closely with production, quality, and warehouse teams

Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

Assist with inventory tracking and raw material organization as needed

Qualifications & Requirements Required



High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to accurately follow written instructions and SOPs

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Basic math skills for weighing and measurements

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to

25-50 lbs



Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment

Preferred

Experience in food, pharmaceutical, or supplement manufacturing

Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, or batch record documentation

Experience working with mixing or blending equipment

Previous experience in food or supplement manufacturing (asset)

Manufacturing facility with temperature-controlled production areas

Use of PPE (hair nets, gloves, lab coats, etc.) required

Comfortable with flexible hours (early start/into the evening)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Work Location: In person
