Job Description

We are currently seeking a "RAR Functional Consultant" for a contract role with one of our clients in Toronto, ON. Please apply if you would be interested and available for it.Duration: 12+ MonthsKey Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the functional design and configuration of SAP RAR to meet business and financial reporting requirements.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and provide recommendations for optimizing revenue recognition.
• Integration & Testing: Ensure seamless integration of SAP RAR with other SAP modules (FI, SD, BRIM) and third-party systems; conduct unit and integration testing.
• Data Management: Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation related to revenue recognition.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to IFRS 15, ASC 606, and other regulatory standards.
• Training & Documentation: Provide training to end-users, develop functional documentation, and support change management activities.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing functional support, troubleshoot issues, and work with technical teams to resolve system gaps.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP Finance with a focus on SAP RAR and revenue recognition processes.
• Strong expertise in IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliance and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP FI-CO, SAP SD, and SAP BRIM is preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a client-facing role, managing stakeholder expectations and delivering SAP solutions.
• Experience in the automotive industry or complex manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP RAR certification is an asset.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Prior experience with IBM or large-scale consulting firms is beneficial.
