* General requirements - education, work experience, certification, and skills
  • Possess social skills required for serving a high-end, discerning clientele
  • Comfortable with children and animals
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to abide by the resort\xe2\x80\x99s established systems and sustainability best practices
  • Clear communicator, adept at listening
  • Stamina for working in a physically demanding, fast-paced workplace
  • Mentally prepared to relocate and live in a remote wilderness environment
  • Passionate about the outdoors, sustainability, and great service
  • High school diploma
  • Current certifications for First-Aid
  • Must be safety and detail oriented
* Specific Skills
  • Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
  • Must be an experienced angler, preferably fly fishing experience
  • Be proficient with the use of farm equipment (skidsteer; chainsaw; ATV and trailer, wood splitter, axe, fencing tools, etc.)
* Highly Desirable
  • Working knowledge of terrain, environment, flora and fauna in BC\xe2\x80\x99s Interior
  • Ability for route finding in the wilderness
  • Working knowledge of safety and risk management when dealing with people and the wilderness environment
  • PAL
  • Bushcraft, marksmanship, archery, hiking, or other outdoor activities as hobbies
  • Carpentry and construction experience
  • Own vehicle
