As a Railway Station Security Guard , there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a Rail environment.

Hourly wage of $16.75 + comprehensive benefits We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Permanent position: Wednesday, Thursday (1800-0600), Friday (2000-0100) Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost

Responsibilities for Railway Station Security Guard

Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide Passengers Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Answer questions in person or by phone Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Patrol the site and Reporting with G-Track device. Check all doors and ensure they are closed and not jimmied anyway to allow for entrance Conduct regular exterior and interior patrol with G-Track to deter potential threats and ensure the security of the area Respond to emergencies Monitor CCTV/alarms Visible deterrent to any vagrancy, vandalism, and/or loitering. Must be vigilant in patrolling those areas and be visible walking around. Maintain a safe and secure work environment Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Railway Station Security Guard

Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Manitoba security license First aid certification an asset Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills Previous experience in the Security industry is an asset Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to work Evening and Night shifts Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Good with Technology Be available to Mandatory trainings
