Job Description

Ideal candidate must be in currently living in Surrey, BC right now.

Duties:

- Plan and deliver lessons that are engaging and aligned with curriculum standards - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students - Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement instructional strategies - Utilize technology and other resources to enhance teaching and learning - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior - Give detail plan to supervisor teacher of what students learned at the end of each week
The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process. For this position we are looking for a candidate who must have a background in Quran and Islamic Studies. The candidate must possess an educational degree in these areas. Some of the essential requirements are highlighted below:

Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred in Islamic Studies Proven experience as an educator Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills Well-organized and committed Creative and energetic Strong moral values and discipline Knowledge of CPR Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
