Quote and Order Processing Coordinator ensures every order is accurately quoted, expertly scheduled, and seamlessly transitioned from concept to creation. You'll work across departments and systems, keeping customer needs front and center while driving quality and efficiency in our manufacturing process.

What You'll Be Doing:


Generate and manage accurate quotes for manufacturing. Enter and track orders in D365 Business Central, ensuring alignment with customer specs and production capabilities. Coordinate with supply chain and production to schedule materials and manufacturing timelines. Program jobs in Optiplanning with specific dimensions, tape instructions, and grain matching. Monitor active job statuses, resolve discrepancies, and support the flow of information across departments. Respond to branch and customer inquiries regarding quotes, order status, inventory, and shipping. Assist in inventory audits and invoice reconciliation. Organize and maintain up-to-date order documentation and reports.





In an Average Week, You Might...


Kick off Monday by reviewing last week's production data and completed orders -- spotting any issues, confirming what ran smoothly, and identifying what needs your attention this week. Check in with the Production Manager and Branch Operations to align on material flow, customer expectations, and schedule priorities. Touch base with the sales team to clarify customer specs, troubleshoot unique order requests, and confirm lead times. Review incoming quotes and prep production orders, ensuring every detail is accurate--from dimensions and taping instructions to special handling and grain direction. Walk the floor to connect with team members in manufacturing, resolve any programming or material challenges, and see where your inputs have made an impact on the week's workflow. Wrap up Friday by updating the next week's production schedule, reviewing inventory status, confirming outbound deliveries, and making sure every order has what it needs to run on time. You'll finish the week knowing your precision helped set the team up for success.




What You Bring:


2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production scheduling environment. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) is an asset. High attention to detail, strong math and measuring skills, and an ability to interpret technical drawings. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and adhere to safety protocols.

Experience in production software such as Optiplanning, Microvellum, Cabinet vision, etc
