Position Overview

As a Quotations Specialist at Prolux, you will prepare detailed lighting quotations for residential, commercial and industrial projects as well as day to day pricing for stock items. Working closely with the sales team, a Quotations Specialist at Prolux works inside the office reviewing tender documentation and electrical specifications, seeking clarification from electrical contractors and engineers as necessary, in order to prepare bills of material and provide pricing to electrical distributors. Subsequent to tender, a Quotations Specialist may assist in securing projects for Prolux. When Prolux wins a project, a Quotations Specialist facilitates the handoff to one of our Project Coordinators.".

Key Responsibilities

Review tender documents, specifications, and lighting drawings Prepare accurate, timely quotations and bills of material Request and verify supplier pricing Communicate with clients to clarify project details and offer value-based solutions Follow up on quotations to help secure business Collaborate with internal teams during hand-offs Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturers Stay current on lighting products from our represented brands Support the outside and inside sales teams

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in lighting quotations or estimating while not essential is beneficial Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Ability to multitask and manage multiple quotes at once Team-oriented mindset, thriving in a collaborative office environment Ability to read and interpret electrical or architectural drawings is a plus Experience with quotation software considered an asset Customer-focused with a proactive, problem-solving attitude

Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
