Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking a Quotations and Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Vanier, Quebec office.

Position Overview:

The Quotations Specialist and Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales of assigned product lines to distributors and customers in the Quebec market. In this role, your responsibilities will include preparing professional quotations and Bills of Material using sound business and technical judgment with due recognition to distributor policies, modules, and field strategies. The Quotations Specialist will utilize a combination of sales support techniques to achieve orders / sales goals while delivering customer concentric solutions.

In this function you will:

• Produce complete, accurate and on time quotes based on plans and specification.
• This position is responsible to produce quotes for Western Quebec construction projects.
• Proactively quote alternates to better position Eaton.
• Customer communication and support/internal: Maintain proper communication with internal customers, including price and product feedback on both commercial and technical issues; Maintain effective communication and coordination with field sales engineer, thus maximizing the field sales engineer's effectiveness.
• Assist outside sales representatives and distributors on electronic quotation, opportunity identification, order entry, production tracking and shipping processes.
• Monitor flow of project business in assigned area and communicate issues, needs, workload requirements as necessary to field sales personnel.
• You will prepare sales quotations based on customer requirements and expectations.
• Utilize pricing tools to complete timely professional quotations.
• Support outside sales representatives with quotation follow-up and competitor activity reporting.
• Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values, as well as Safety and Environmental standards.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical or mechanical/ technology or engineering program.
• Bilingual in English and French
• Ability to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
• No relocation is being offered for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• University degree electrical engineering or business program
• Minimum 5 years Technical sales experience
• Market/Customer knowledge
